Powering the Mid-Atlantic: Restoring Energy Affordability and Reliability

A multi-state policy hearing on energy:
Republican lawmakers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and
Virginia are coming together because families, businesses, and communities
across our region are facing the same crisis: soaring energy bills, threats to
grid reliability, and policies that put political agendas ahead of commonsense
solutions.

Because our states share the same grid, the same transmission lines, and
often the same challenges, energy policy in one state inevitably impacts
families and businesses across all three.

Our goal with this series of hearings is twofold: to shine a light on how
current energy policies are impacting affordability and reliability, and to
chart a better path forward.
